Hey! I'm Devan, and I love to design captivating, authentic digital experiences. My specialities lean toward front-end visual design, logo design, and branding. I came to UX, graphic, and web design via a winding, nonlinear path, completing many side quests along the way. With an associate's and a bachelor's degree in anthropology and the study of material culture, humans and our motivations have always fascinated me. After spending a decade in the fine dining and hospitality space, I discovered a hunger to expand my expertise: I wanted to take those countless user experiences I created night after night at each table and translate them to an industry that allowed me to utilize my creative inclinations in conjunction with my innate need to understand what drives us at our core. UX and digital design has offered me the opportunity to apply the varied skill sets I've acquired throughout my work experience in a setting where I can genuinely help people in a meaningful way.
